There are several key components to weight training for weight loss and fat loss.
Whenever I meet with a prospective personal training client, we review several areas of their health and fitness program and fat loss tips, including:
Almost always, men and women have put too many eggs in one basket and are severely lacking in attention to detail in several of the other departments.
As we see both in-home personal training clients and also clients that come to our studio, weight lifting equipment needs vary as well.
Whichever category you fit in, if you're serious about your weight loss training program and your fat loss program change is a necessity.
Our postural and movement assessments deliver the information we as strength coaches need to address mobility in your joints and flexibility in your muscles.
Designing and implementing an adequate program here will allow for improved muscle activation through a greater range of motion.
That means you'll be burning more calories by activating more muscle.
Through this you'll be able to achieve the "muscle toning" and fat loss that many of our clients are after.
In terms of heart rate training, most people do too much cardio at too low of an intensity.
In developing individual clients' programs, we strive to improve your cardiovascular function within the weight lifting routine by incorporating interval exercise training as often as possible.
We are also sure to set your THRZ (Target Heart Rate Zone) for when you are doing your own cardiovascular exercise outside of your personal training sessions.
Again, the goal is to burn calories more efficiently in both weight training and in cardiovascular exercise.
Initially through basic weight lifting exercises and then through planned progressions, we create the foundation for your weight loss and fat loss.
For weight lifting women and men, we strive to develop your deep core muscles - those that stabilize your spine and your hips.
The stronger those muscles are, the better you'll be able to push, pull, twist, and squat (or lunge).
Through our attention to detail in all of these areas, we've enjoyed great success in developing effective weight training for weight loss programs for all of our clients.
Of course, you can move and exercise all day, but your body still requires the right fuels to make significant physical changes - both inside and out!
You'd be surprised by how much even Weight Gain and Diet Sodas can impact your bottom line.
Following just a few healthy eating tips on a consistent basis can make all the difference.
